Our dog accessories include leashes, harnesses, collars, & poop bag carriers. Each coming in their own chic colours, including lavender, cyan-blue, light green, & salmon. All our dog leashes come with a padded handle and are adjustable in length. Every dog leash has a D-ring to carry accessories like a poop bag carrier.

About Us
Alex & Kael started Dog Basics in the storage room of a small home in Kelowna, BC. We wanted to build something different, something we could be proud of. Our focus was on creating a high quality product that we knew our customers would come to love. Having previous experience in e-commerce meant we knew mass-market global platforms were fraught with low quality products from companies that didn’t seem to care much about their product or customer.
It happened that in 2021, we decided to create that company and sell products independently where terms could be offered on the side of the valued customer. We ordered a large collar walk kit for our Bernadoodle Lenny last week, and it arrived today! The collar fits perfectly and seems to be high quality. The leash is quite comfortable being wrapped around your hand because of the padded handle. The cyan colour is gorgeous when you see it in person.
