How do I clean my dog gear?
We recommend hand washing all your gear with warm soap and water. Avoid using a washing machine & dryer. Please hang to dry.
Do you offer free returns?
At this time we do not offer free returns. We are working on how to make this possible but as of right now return's will be charged a $14.99 return fee.
What size do I order if my dog is in between sizes?
We recommend ordering the larger size to avoid having items that are too small. All the harnesses, collars, and leashes are adjustable.
When will my order be shipped?
All orders will be fulfilled & shipped in the following 24 - 48 hours after you place your order from our facility in Kelowna, B.C.
Will I get a tracking number?
We will send you a copy of your order along with a tracking number associated with Canada Post.
What does shipping cost?
All orders that exceed $50.00 will have free shipping applied at checkout. This does not include international orders. Orders below the $50.00 cut off mark will have a flat shipping charge of $14.99.
How long will shipping take to arrive?
Once orders are shipped it will typically take 4 - 7 days to arrive at most Canadian destinations. During holidays or busy season shipping times can be delayed.
What type of packaging will my dog gear arrive in?
All orders are shipped in fully recyclable poly bags. The dog gear will be wrapped in small bubble wrap to ensure no items are damaged in the shipping process
Can I arrange a local pick up?
If you would like to arrange a local pick up please reach out to our team info@dogbasics.ca and we will assist in a curb-side drop off.

We ordered a large collar walk kit for our Bernadoodle Lenny last week and it arrived today! The collar fits perfectly and seems to be high quality. The leash is quite comfortable being wrapped around your hand because of the padded handle. The cyan blue colour is gorgeous when you see it in person.
